The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) receives about 30,000 reports of possible violations of food and commodity laws each year. Notifications are registered, assessed and dealt with by the Basisvoorziening Meldingen (BVM) application designed by Blueriq, after which the notification goes further into the organization via 'case-oriented working'.
