Blueriq release 17

Blueriq Release 17 focuses on four key themes:

  • Blueriq Cloud
  • DCM in Blueriq Encore: The Power of Simplicity in Process Modeling
  • Interoperability of the Blueriq Platform: Knowledge Services in the Landscape
  • BlueNova: Improving Visual Support for Knowledge Workers

These themes form the base for all upcoming minor releases and updates for the coming year.

Blueriq Cloud

The Blueriq Cloud can be used to model processes in the cloud and then deploy them either on-premise or in the Blueriq Cloud. This makes it easier for customers to get started with Blueriq and to continue using the Blueriq Platform in a sustainable way. With Release 17, we are investing in both the ability to model in the cloud and the ability to run the corresponding solution.

By offering the Blueriq Platform as a service in the cloud, we reduce the time-to-market and lessen the dependency on technical expertise. To achieve this goal, we expect to make significant progress during Blueriq 17, including:

  • Blueriq Encore server suited for container deployment
  • Blueriq Encore SaaS proposition
  • Blueriq Runtime multi tentant

DCM in Encore

The Power of Simplicity in Process Modeling

With the Blueriq Platform, our customers are able to deliver customized services. Thanks to Blueriq’s dynamic process modeling capabilities, customers can develop tailor-made processes in a short amount of time. In an ever changing world, our customers can respond quickly and easily adjust their solutions.

The goal of this theme is:

  • To simplify DCM process modeling from Encore
  • To make quick and easy modeling for multiple case types possible
  • To maximize the individual strength of caseworkers by enabling parallel work on a case

Interoperability of the Blueriq Platform

Knowledge and policy can be captured in complex logic, which the Blueriq Platform applies through a comprehensible, agile and maintainable model. This model is used to execute processes, make decisions and derive results by extracting goal-oriented information from source information. For this, source information must enter our system and goal-oriented information must leave our system. Any method by which this occurs falls under the goal of interoperability.

The goals of this theme are:

  • Increasing connection possibilities
  • Enhancing transparency of Blueriq web services for external parties
  • Reducing repetitive steps for Business Engineers when setting up and calling web services

BlueNova

BlueNova is a new front-end for Blueriq applications, comparable to the Material Theme. With BlueNova, we address the need for a front-end with a modern look and feel for demo applications and as a first step in developing a new (client-specific) front-end.

  • Modern look and feel
  • Quick start: Lower costs and faster time-to-market due to an improved foundation at the start of a new application
  • Improved lifecycle management
  • Optimized user experience through tools for the business engineer, such as templates and decision trees
  • Optimized for knowledge workers

Blueriq release strategy

We aim to deliver new features and value to our customers as quickly as possible. To do this, we use ‘major’ and ‘minor’ releases:

  • Every month, we release a new minor version, delivering the latest features to our customers. These are also often discussed during the Blueriq Quarterly Demo.
  • Every year, we release a new (major) version, like Release 17. This annual release is necessary to keep Blueriq’s technical foundation healthy and secure.
